Flames of Freedom is produced with a talented ensemble cast of actors from around the world, playing multiple roles to recreate the story of the founding of the Colony of Georgia and the world of Jewish refugees fleeing persecution in Europe seeking a better life in America.

Angelines Santaňa

Angelines Santaňa started her acting career at the tender age of 4 in her native country of Mexico, has been working with her voice since age 7, and has been dubbing movies from English to Spanish since age 11. Working with her voice has allowed her to voice innumerable roles, including advertising campaigns on radio and TV, toys, encyclopedias, e-learning products, phone operator VM, museum-guided tours, and pretty much whatever requires a professional voice. And now, Angie is loving the wonderful world of podcasts.

Juan Pablo Gamboa

Juan Pablo Gamboa’s acting career took off when he began acting in Latin American soap operas, known in the business as "telenovelas," and has become well-known in the Hispanic market, working in film and television in Mexico and Colombia, and receiving worldwide exposure with the sales of his projects to over 120 countries, translated and subtitled to diverse languages. Juan Pablo has appeared in several films and television series, like "King of Texas," where he shared the stage with Roy Scheider; "Kings of South Beach," with Donnie Wahlberg; "The Damned," with Peter Facinelli; and the recently released "Loving Pablo," with Penélope Cruz.

Barry Stoltze

Barry Stoltze studied with the likes of Nina Foch and Group Rep Theatre Artistic Director Lonnie Chapman, doing on-camera, voiceover, stage, and stand-up before heading to Georgia, where he has worked in the Entertainment Industry for over 40 years. In addition to performing on many of the major stages in Atlanta, he can be heard on hundreds of commercials and videos with Southern clients as varied as Georgia Power and The Georgia Lottery, as well as national brands like Coca-Cola, Elderplan, and BevMo!. Every year for the past 20 years, he has co-produced Lend Me an Ear, a night of Old-Time Radio recreations with live SFX at The Shakespeare Tavern and Playhouse, which raises funds for the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

Brad Davidorf

Brad Davidorf has been a full-time voiceover guy for over 20 years, voicing hundreds of promos, TV and radio spots, narration, and assorted characters for clients nationwide. His voice has launched a few networks like ESPNU, Spike TV, and Planet Green, and he was the longtime “very funny” voice of TBS, and the in-show announcer for Dr. Oz for a couple of seasons. Brad is currently heard on CNN, HLN, UPTV, AMC, and radio stations from coast to coast, and has narrated documentary series for Animal Planet, Nat Geo Wild, and CMT. He is the voice of Sargent Joseph Hero in the upcoming animated show, Dollar Toy Squad.

Francois Clemenceau

Francois Clemenceau, born and raised in Mexico City, is known for his fast-talking, intense roles on stage, screen, and voice acting. After studying at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and the Instituto Nacional de las Bellas Artes, Francois became an actor and was the official voice of Cartoon Network Latin America from 1998 until 2014. He has received numerous accolades for his performances as a main voice actor for SALSA, a comprehensive award-winning program for young children featuring puppets, which won four Southern Regional Emmy Awards and 1st Place for Children's Programming at the prestigious U.S. International Film and Video Festival.

Scott Slade

Scott Slade has been on the air since January 1970, with all but ten of his 53 years in radio spent in Georgia. He recently stepped back from daily hosting “Atlanta’s Morning News” on WSB Radio but remains with the station for special assignments such as his “Scott Slade’s Georgia” weekly segment. Scott began his radio career at 15, winning his first Associated Press award in 1971 while still a teen for “News Interpretation.”  On his way to becoming the longest-tenured morning host in Atlanta, Scott is a rare, two-time winner of the National Association of Broadcasters Marconi Award as Best Radio Personality in America. He shares two regional Emmy Awards as host of Georgia Public Broadcasting’s “Lawmakers” program and numerous Murrow, AP, and GAB awards.  Scott was inducted into the Georgia Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame and the Atlanta Press Club Hall of Fame in 2023. 

Key Role: Scott is the voice behind our Timeline video and has been a major supporter of this project since its inception.
